Hello, my name is Eyo Efioita Efiom "Triple E". I've taken photos since I was about 13 years of age. My mother purchased my 1st camera, a Pentax K1000, and all the equipment to have a Black and White Darkroom in our small 3 bedroom apartment. I remember being amazed when I heard the salesperson at the photography store tell my mother the total. Without blinking, she pulled out her checkbook, and wrote a check for over $500+ (Back in 1983). At 13 years of age, I didn't know much, but I knew back then $500+ was an astronomical amount of money for a single mom to spend on her child's newfound hobby. What a waste it would've been if I had lost interest in photography three weeks later. Mother, who is no longer with us today, would be incredibly proud to see her son stirring up the gift that was placed inside of him by God over 39 years ago when she saw my interest and wanted to invest in her son's untapped potential.
